Pro tip: Vinyl panels cannot be “forced” into alignment. Your posts must be perfectly straight and evenly spaced.

Gate posts:

Depending on your fence style:

• Secure with screws if your system uses brackets.

• Insert pickets one by one into the bottom rail.

• Lock the last picket in place.

• Slide the top rail over the pickets or panel.
• Snap or screw into place per your brand’s design.
• Ensure the rail is fully engaged so the panel doesn’t rattle.

• Use vinyl glue or silicone to secure caps.
• Wipe away excess adhesive.

• Attach hinges to the gate frame first.
• Mount the gate to the reinforced gate post.
• Adjust swing and latch alignment.
• Install latch hardware and any drop rods for double gates.

• Walk the fence line and check:
  • Posts are plumb
  • Panels are level
  • Rails are fully seated
  • Gates swing freely
• Backfill around posts and tamp soil.
